Originally a working farm, the previous family owners opened a small camping ground at Elm Farm in the 1920's. During the 1940's small teardrop caravans, horse drawn caravans and even a converted ex-RAF coach had begun to arrive at Elm Farm as it took its first steps to becoming established as a holiday home park.

The Story so far...
Sharing the same sense of community as we do today, Elm Farm played its part in village life by hosting the local fair on its Meadow. We continue to support the village and enjoy being a part of its continuing history.

Elm Farm continued with the next generations taking the reins and investing in modern machinery. However by the beginning of the 1980's with growing food mountains and a national reduction in agriculture, it was decided that Elm Farm was to be put up for sale by auction.
A new beginning...
The Morris family had enjoyed owning holiday homes on the small caravan site since 1956. By the time of the auction it was the favourite place for the family to gather and spend long summers and weekends together. What might the future hold once Elm Farm was sold?
Peter Morris had the answer! In 1982 he bought Elm Farm and within a few years had modernised the caravan site with new roads and services for each plot. In 2007 Peter's Son, Neil and his Wife Sarah took over management of Elm Farm, re-branded as Elm Farm Country Park and began work on the new lodge development.
Neil and Sarah are committed to maintaining the historic values of a family owned and managed holiday park and are extremely proud of it's heritage. They are dedicated to steering Elm Farm successfully into the future leaving a legacy for their children, grandchildren and future
generations.
